Influence on AC foaming agent's  Deaomposition by its Particle Size

Decomposition rate of ac foaming agent is influenced by ac foaming agent particle size and activators. Activation of ADC occurs in a multiphase system and directly linked to activation surface area. Small particle size ac foaming agent(with larger specific surface area) is more easily activated than big particle size ac foaming agent.

Under same temperature, it can be seen that ADC of small particle size has quicker decomposition speed and can be more easily activated.

When dynamic blowing methods like injection moulding or extruding are used, particle size of ADC has bigger influence on blowing properties than when static blowing methods are used.
